The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) is pleased to announce its 7th Annual Scholarship Essay Competition. As always, the Essay competition aims to provide a unique platform that supports critical thinking amongst university students on topical socio-economic issues that are important in Nigeria’s sustainable growth and development. This year’s competition focuses on “The CBN Naira redesign policy and its effect on the Nigerian economy & the consequence of increased brain drain on the economy”.

Mujaheed Nuhu (NHEF Scholar ’16) earned a scholarship to pursue his master’s degree in Civil Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Engineering -Water Resources and Environmental Engineering – from Ahmadu Bello University. He graduated as the top scholar in his graduating class.
