The NHEF offers a broad range of programs geared at providing support to Faculty at our partner universities and addressing their specific needs.
We aim to identify and facilitate linkages between Faculty at targeted institutions in Nigeria and major universities and organizations across the globe. We also assist members of Partner University Faculty with researching and exploring fellowship programs and submitting proposals for these opportunities.
The NHEF Faculty program is a capacity development program that seeks to expand the knowledge and skills of the University faculty through capacity building programs and assessments that enable them gain knowledge needed to foster development within their universities, make learning better, interactive and modern. The program lasts for a week and participants are faculty members from our various partner universities spread across major geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
CAReH is primarily focused on the advancement of healthcare in Africa while harnessing the role of African Academies in Science, Engineering and Medicine. It involves the engagement of African academics and practitioners in various fields with their counterparts in Nigeria, thus encouraging faculty to share experiences and build capacity for national, regional, and global development.
The NHEF Higher Education Forum brings together over one hundred thought leaders from various disciplines across the United States and Nigeria to participate in an in-depth discussion on the role and potential of academics in Africa and everyone’s responsibility for strengthening and sustaining African economies
