The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the inaugural edition of the NHEF Faculty Program, a transformative initiative to enhance the capacity and expertise of faculty across Nigeria's higher education institutions.

The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation held its inaugural essay competition in February 2015. The competition is aimed at harnessing young minds on issues of vital importance to Nigeria’s development. We received a lot of entries based on the topic of the recently concluded essay writing contest which was “ The Role of Higher Education in Strengthening Democracy in Nigeria”.

As part of our commitment to prepare the next generation of Nigerian scholars and to substantially increase the number of well-educated Nigerians assuming positions of leadership and responsibility on the global stage, the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) held an Orientation program for our first ever class of NHEF Scholars on Thursday July 28th, 2016
