In an effort to further our programs while actively engaging students especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the NHEF Online Skills Academy (OSA) was established to virtually provide students and young professionals with the tools and resources required to effectively build corporate professional skills and become leaders of tomorrow.
During season 1 of the OSA, students and young professionals from around the world were engaged through insightful learning sessions facilitated by industry experts from across various professional industries on various skill development exercises that are necessary to achieve career growth & development.
The benefits of networking were highlighted in this engaging session led by CEO, People’s Productivity Solutions, Kunle Malomo. The session navigated the basics of networking and the importance of building & maintaining professional relationships.
Kunle Malomo – CEO, People Productivity Solutions
Kunle Malomo is the Chief Executive Officer of People Productivity Solutions and has twenty years experience in human capital strategy formulation and implementation, strategic partnering initiatives; executive learning programs; corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions; venture capital portfolio company management; and technology innovation for mobile applications development and analytics.
The panel discussion navigated various career opportunities within the Financial Services Industry. Panelists also shared personal experiences on how to build marketable skills and the importance of building a strong network.
DANLADI VERHEIJEN – Managing Partner & Co-Founder, Verod Capital
Danladi is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Verod. Prior to founding Verod, Danladi held roles at Citibank Nigeria, Ocean and Oil Holdings and at McKinsey & Company. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.Sc. in Engineering Economic Systems & Operations Research from Stanford University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Calvin College. He also sits on the board of the African Venture Capital Association (AVCA) and the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association of Nigeria (PEVCAN). He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2014.
The panel discussion explored career opportunities in the legal services industry. Attendees were enlightened on various roles that a law degree could fit into, asides the mainstream roles. Panelists also shared their personal experiences through the course of their career.

He was an Associate with White & Case, New York between 1982 and 1983. Gbenga was educated at the University of Ife (LL.B Honours), and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (LL.M) graduating in 1979 and 1982 respectively.
